The Palestine Information Network launched the tentative Palestine Language Guide for media in November 2023. The toolkit was released in a joint online event with the United Ulama Council of South Africa (UUCSA).
The guide is a valuable resource that provides insight on how to accurately frame stories from Palestine and share appropriate context to developments from the region. It also highlights a host of problematic terms that feature in reporting on Palestine, and suggests more fitting alternatives.
The pdf guide is available free of charge to media practitioners and other interested parties.
